Best and Worst

This is my opinion of the best and worst movies I've seen lately. The best was "Little Miss Sunshine" which we saw at the theatre in Moncton, NB. I laughed and I cried. A total 10 out of 10 and two thumbs up. I won't say any more so that I won't ruin ot for you. See this movie! That's an order.
Now the worst was on DVD - "A History of Violence" with Viggo Mortensen who plays Aragorn in the Lord of the Rings Series. He has completely fallen from grace in my books for doing this movie. I don't want to go into details but the fact that this is the worst movie I've seen in a long time should speak for itself.
Alright so bring on your bests and worsts, I'm curious what everyone else is watching...

"Little Miss Sunshine" was excellent. At one point in the movie, I turned around and looked at everyone in the theatre. Not one person was unaffected; everyone was sitting forward, eyes wide, smiling and loud huge laughter. The ambiance in the theatre was just as good as the movie, and this definitely is in my top 10.

Everyone I know LOVED "A History of Violence"; you are the first person I know who has had a bad experience. Sure, it's a tough movie, but I think that Viggo does an excellent job and Ed Harris was good as well.

I'm gonna have to agree that A history of Violence should remain in a history of bad movies. There was one or two really cool fight moves and that was it. I watched an interview with the director and wasn't impressed with his style or his movie. But hey, bygones. My worst lately was ultraviolet. ULTRA BAD!!!! I haven't seen any really good ones lately, but I've been really into HBO tv shows. Like Deadwood. Very good. A little graphic, but great character developement. Thanks for the tip on LMS. I was thinking about seeing it and now I wil.

I liked "Bon cop, bad cop" which quite humerously paints the divide between English Canada and Qubec. The worst I saw was "Possiden", totally useless, weak, pathetic women characters... and a know it all hero who was male.
