This past week Blaise started using his potty - I was shocked and thrilled:) But he only used it two days in a row, and then peed on the floor for the next three days! So we'll keep encouraging him, but today is rainy and cool so not very condusive to Blaise running around with no diaper. We'd LOVE to have him out of diapers in time for baby #2 but time is ticking...

I wouldn't push the issue. If he is still not using the potty at 5, then you can be a bit worried. When he is ready, he will do it.
Good for Blaise (and parents)! I hope the process goes well. Noah did his first do-do in the potty today, but it's not really warm enough to train him in earnest. Don't you find there's an aweful lot of bathroom talk going on these days? You really have to explain everything.
He looks quite happy on his potty...and you've read him all those fun stories about it. He probably knows exactly what it's for...now his body to understand and obey! Cute little boy...maybe make it a game..or give him a book to sit on the toilet with...(that might start a habit though, ha ha)
