For the Love of Tea...

This is what I look forward to every morning. I have a nice hot cup of Mildred Tea (the closest thing to Earl Grey that I can get here), and a "Pan Mexicana" which is a cinnamon-y sweet bread from our local bakery. I used to be a bit into coffee for awhile, but I've returned to my first love; tea. Also I have a special mug that I like my morning tea in, the red gardenia one in the photo. I have particular mugs for hot chocolate and herbal tea as well. Does that make me eccentric I wonder? Nah:)

You mean my kids might end up having 10 different mugs or glasses because it is their favourite for whatever they are drinking? I was hoping they would grow out of it....

That Pan Mexicana looks good.

Not eccentric at all. I like my tea in white mugs so I can see the color. And i like hot chocolate in colored mugs because it looks more festive.
And boy does that pastry look wonderful. :)

You know what I look forward to every morning? Changing a poopy diaper and then wrestling with Blaise to get a clean on on him. Then not having time to take a shower or put clean clothes on myself. Do you hide those pan mexicanos? Do you eat when I'm gone to work? We have tea in the house?

Pretty picture! I'm glad you have a little AM ritual, it's good for the soul. of course, if it's food related, it's good for the body, too!
Zaak, you slay me.

I'm the same way... I have my coffee mugs, I have my tea mugs. I don't have an explanation as to why it actually matters

My comment before I read everyone elses was if you are eccentric , then so am I....cause I have my favorite tea mugs...and a coffee mug (from Corner Gas)...but I had to have a good long laugh over Zaak's comment before I could write....I'm still chuckling...

Ahh yes tea is good...although you can't beat a good cup of chai made by your favourite chai maker. Next to Chai and Earl Grey, some of my favourite teas are Darjeeling, English Breakfast, and Assam. Next time you guys come this way again we'll have to do some tea tasting.
