Tofu - Muy Rico!

As we were waiting at a traffic light in the Capital we were handed a flier for a Sushi Bar! It was lunchtime and we were hungry so we went to check it out. It was really good and the starter was soup with tofu in it (much to my delight). I haven't had tofu since we left Canada and I've been missing it. I've been cooking wih chicken and beef a bit since we moved here but it still grosses me out. I think I'm leaning towards vegetarianism again, although I'm a sucker for bbq'd meat especially when I don't have to cook it!

I have to say that I'm leaning away from vegetarianism, unless I get a really good cook :). I just can't cook good vegetarian food. I find I eat more healty when I'm eating some meat. I'm also missing sushi here in Moncton :(

I hear you! Touching and preparing meat is gross but I'll eat it if someone else cooks it!

I love sushi. You should see how much of that stuff Kiyomi can eat. It's crazy. I usually cook veggie but there are a few exceptions like turkey for thanksgiving and christmas and fish randomly. I just disinfect everything really good. I've worked at too many restaurants, I pull out the bleach and a bucket and go to town.

There is something deeply satisfying about sticking a razor sharp knife into a slab of meet and dicing and slicing it into smithereens. I figure, if you're slower than me and you taste good, pass the salt.
